Joseph is survived by his wife, Angelina Ward; his children Gabrielle, James E, and Caroline Ward; his father, Jack Ward; his sister, Rebekah Ward; and a host of other relatives. He is predeceased by his mother, Barbara Ward; sister, Janet Ward; and twin brother, James P.
Ward.
Joseph Ward was born in Fort Worth Texas on October 19, 1970, to Jack and Barbara Ward. He had a twin brother who passed away at birth. He attended Westcliff Elementary school, McLean middle school, and was in the class of 1989 at R.L Paschal high school. He graduated from Texas Tech University in December of 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in advertising and worked at Resdoor Company. On June 15, 2002, he married Angelina and became stepfather to Gabrielle. On December 3, 2002, they had their son, James E. Ward. On November 19, 2004, they had their second daughter Caroline Ward.
Joseph was a devoted father and an avid musician. He played clarinet in the Paschal marching and concert bands and was one of the school's drum majors his senior year of high school. He played alto saxophone in the Paschal jazz band. He also marched and played clarinet in the Texas Tech marching band his freshman year of college. He loved to play the guitar and saved up money to buy his first electric guitar at age 15; he would be involved in many rock and country groups over the course of his life. He was an outdoorsman who loved to spend his free time at the family farm in Stephenville, Texas. He was a spiritual man and enjoyed reading the Bible at night before he went to sleep. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
