John W. Williams was born on September 12, 1943, to the parents of Augustus Sr and Adrian Williams
in Marshall, Texas. John was born to a union of 13 Children, in which he was the third youngest child.
John Williams attended and graduated from Marshall Public Schools, most notably H.B
Pemberton High School. He eventually moved to Fort Worth, Texas after graduation, where he took
courses at TCJC.
John worked at several manufacturing plants including Bell Helicopter and Packaging Corp of
America where he retired after 36 years. John enjoyed working outside, cutting lawns, and planting
flowers. He was very industrious and wanted the best for his family, so he developed his own lawn
service, including taking care of the lawn services for PCA where he worked as a machinist.
He was a good husband, father and provider for his family. He was much loved and will be truly
missed.. He was preceded in death by his brothers Louis Karl (Deany), Augustus Williams Jr (Buddy),
Tommy Williams, Lorenzo Williams, Charles Williams and his sisters Marie Harper (Big Sister), Otha
Virginia Williams, Clarice Brazile.
John leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years Gladys Williams and his two daughters Adrian
Renay Williams and Brandi L. Williams, of Crowley, TX. He also leaves behind his sisters Dorothy Smith
and Lavern Clements of Fort Worth, TX and two brothers, Joe B Williams of Fort Worth, TX and Robert
Williams (Ann) of Elysian Fields, TX.
John leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn him. John in the later
part of his life came to know and love Jehovah and was preparing to dedicate his life toHim, in whom he
had much faith.
