John was a great family man, loving husband and loving father. He was a social and active man who was involved with his church until he was not able to do as much. He truly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was always happiest in the woods or spending time with his family or spoiling his dogs. He loved his dogs like they were his children. He enjoyed building things, grilling, and tinkering around his yard and shop. He loved teaching his secrets to life to his children. John always had a larger than life personality and he loved big. His family and friends will always remember him as someone who loved to make you laugh. He loved picking on you, that was his way of letting you know that he liked you. He welcomed everyone and if he liked you he treated you like family. He is loved and missed by us all.
