Jimmie Lee Daniels was born July 8, 1929 in Martin Mills, Texas to the parentage of Chester Daniels and Minnie Sessions. He grew up in Athens and accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. He went on to graduate from the historic Fisher High School in 1948. In 1992, Jimmie joined the United States Armed Forced and was honorably discharged in 1954. After fulfilling his Military duties, Jimmie moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he worked as a delivery truck driver for many years for a local company. He continued his employment as a Janitorial Supervisor for the Seminary South Mall and part-time janitor at the Antioch Church until his retirement. Jimmie joined the Antioch Baptist Church more than thirty years ago, and he loved his Antioch Church family, where he faithfully worked as an usher until 2020 when his health begin to fall. He often talked fondly about having peppermints in his pockets, because the kids and the adults always came to him for them, this act of kindness brought him much joy. After a full lived life, Jimmie departed his earthly tabernacle on January 9, 2023. Preceding him in death were: his parents Chester and Minnie Daniels; brothers, Chester, Jr. Mack, William, Raymond and Jeffie Lee Daniels; sister, Therese Daniels and grandson, Castle. He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Willa Milligan of Burleson, Texas, Muriel Joy Stice of Dallas, Texas and sons, Charles Baker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Nolan Troy Washington of Fort Worth, Texas. Grandchildren, Renee Wilborn (Shawn) of Arlington, Texas, Tiffiany Hill (Montrell) of Mansfield, Texas, Ashley Milligan of Crowley, Texas, Louis Castle (Namiki), Anissa Hillis, Andrea Castle all of California, Corie Borders of Fort Worth, Texas. 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He has two Special nieces that he loved very much Mora (TD) Nobles and Effie (Lady) Tolbert and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
