Harold attended the historical I. M. Terrell in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating he joined the United States Army be with the 76th 933rd AAA (AW) Battalion stationed in Tokyo, Yokohama Japan from 1946 to 1951. After his Honorable Discharge in 1951 he vowed in Holy Matrimony to Marjorie Mitchell on March 31, 1957. Harold worked in Civil Service for 33 years at GSA (Ft. Worth, Tx.) Lexington Blue Grass Army Dept. (Lexington, KY) Red River Army Dept. (Hooks, TX) all being parts of General Dynamics. Harold was a faithful member of the choir at Mount Gilead Baptist Church. Later moved membership to Ambassador, Prince Hall Grand Lodge No. 75, E.L. Young American Legion Post 838, 76th/93rd AAA (AW) Battalion and other various organizations.
Later marring Pearlie M. Berkins on July 19, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, brothers and daughters.
He leaves to cherish precious and undying members in the hearts and minds his loving wife Pearlie M. White, daughter Virginia White Faucette (Jesse H. Davis), Betty Greer (James), Fletha Arnold (Arthur), Lisa Hayes (Paul), Diane Berkins, son Joe Berkins (Jackie); grand daughter, Vanessa Davis (Arvin), great grand daughter, Arvanette Ellis-Bishop, great great grand daughter, A'Nyiah Bishop; nieces, Delta White Harris (Reverend Clyde), Janie R. Fields, Veronica Mitchell-Richardson (Robert),; nephews, Reverend Edward Minneweather, Reverend Curtis "CW" Minneweather (Valerie), great nieces, Katherine Suttice (Ronald), Sherial Temple, Great Nephews, Aaron Temple, Ronald Temple, Lewis Temple,; god sister, Maggie Pl Ramage and a host of family and friends.
