Harold served in the USAF for 26 years from as near as Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas to as far as Goose Bay, Labrador. He was an avid league bowler who scored 300 more than once, a rabid baseball fan who played semi-pro in his youth and an animal lover who took in virtually every animal that was offered, including over a dozen feral neighborhood cats that he cared for as if they were his personal indoor pets.
A loving husband full of admiration for his wife, Dottye, who passed in October 2019, devoted father to his two children and four stepchildren, an active member of his church and loyal friend are accolades for which he deserves great credit.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy-Emerson Evans; daughter, Jerri Lynn Spradling; Mother Anna Lenora Love; and stepfather, Milton Love.
Harold is survived by his son, Chris Evans and wife, Sara; stepdaughters, Rebecca Hendriksen and husband, David, Karen Ferguson, and LaRita Stephens; stepson, Michael Craft and wife, Teesa; and son-in-law, Steve Spradling; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
