Foy Marie Maddox passed away on July 9, 2019. She was born in Lamesa, Texas to parents William Floyd Shelton and Willie J (Ethredge) Shelton. She graduated from high school in 1956. She attended Texas Tech University where she met the love of her life Jesse Theodore and got married on October 12, 1957. She was a woman of God, devoted wife, mother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jesse T. Maddox. She is survived by son Alan Kent Maddox of Lawrenceville, GA; daughters Julie Maddox of Burleson, TX, Patricia Maddox Harrison and husband Jeff of Parker, TX and Cindy Rush and husband Gary of Burleson, TX; sister Grace Mitchell and husband Dan of Lamesa, TX and brother Weldon Shelton and wife Star of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren Daniel, Haley, Brooke, and Whitney and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
From the family- "We cannot express enough of our gratitude and love to our family, friends and for the extended wonderful and loving "family" at Heartis in Cleburne, her "home away from home". She loved each of you and so do we.
