Floyd was my next door neighbor for 20 years. He was always so nice and helpful.  I enjoyed talking with him “over the back fence”.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Outcalt family at this difficult time.Floyd was a wonderful neighbor and a great friend.He was always there for me when I needed him, not just me but for the neighborhood. He will surely be missed.  Rosa Raff and family

Our most vivid memories of 'OC' are from our days at Minot AFB, North Dakota in the late 1970s and early 1980s. OC and I were both avid bird hunters. During upland and waterfowl seasons most weekends found us together in the field from dawn until dusk. If we were fortunate enough to harvest some birds, we would return home, often my place, to prepare our catch for the grill. Weather permitting, we grilled on a homemade barbecue outside in my driveway. We were known to partake of the occasional beer, or two, while cooking, and while our families dined together.
OC was especially noteworthy for his devotion to his country, his military service, and his family. These are the qualities which we shall always associate with his memory.
Rest in peace, Old Friend. Know that we shall never forget you.

Janie, Jennifer, Jason and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Floyd.  He was a wonderful guy, always willing to help.  I still remember when my water heater exploded in my garage about 20 years ago, during an ice day when it was about 20 degrees outside.  He called the water company to shut my water off after he saw water coming out of the bottom of my garage, and he and Cora came over and scraped ice off my driveway when I was at work.  I am very grateful for all of his help over the years.  My sincerest condolences to all of you.  May he rest in peace.    Chris Pillmore
