Ernest Louise Williams was born January 6, 1940 to Earnest and Leola L. Sanders in Marlin, TX. A precious daughter that was named Ernest Louise.
At an early age, she joined Providence Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend S.O.J Evans and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She was an active member in the church and played the piano beautifully for the congregation.
Louise received her former education in Marlin, TX at Booker T. Washington High School. She furthered her education and graduated nursing school in Marlin, TX.
Several years later, she moved to Fort Worth Texas and dated Joel Williams, the "love of her life". The two became one in 1972.
Louise began her nursing career employed in hospitals, clinics, private practices for Dr. Earle Scharff, MD and Dr. Imre Kocsis, DO before retiring after 50 years of nursing.
She had a generous heart, always willing to help those in need. Her love for fashion, which she was known for, made her a true "Fashionista".
Louise was a faithful member of the Good Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Rayford Thompson where she served as a deaconess.
In 2011, Louise moved her membership to the Greater Rising Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Floyd Brooks.
The faithful morning of August 12, 2023, Louise heard and answered the Master's Call and moved to a brand new life.
She was preceded in death by her father Earnest Sanders, mother Leola Sanders, husband Joel Williams, Sister Brenda Fisher, and Brother Carl Sanders.
Those left to cherish her sweet memories are children Kevin Woods (Paula), and Cheryle Thompson (Terry); sister Martha Jones of Houston, TX; grandchildren ReChanda "Keema" Woods (Tony), Demarcus Caldwell (Kristen), Kevin Johnson (Tamisha), Hillary Moneà Woods (Kacie), Madison Woods (Dustin); great-grandchildren Kennedy, Dillion, Rashad, Tray'Von, Kaidence Jamari Woods, Kylen Omari Clayton, Kazii Dewayne Taylor, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Ernest will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, 4000 Miller Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76119. A celebration of her life will occur Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Greater Rising Star Baptist Church, 5513 Como Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76107. A burial will occur Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Arlington, TX.
