Donald was very proud of having attended Texas Tech University in his youth. He was a USBC Lifetime Member and always enjoyed bowling.
The family will have a Memorial Gathering, on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 12pm to 3pm at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Donald is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Mitchell and mother, Barbara Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia G. Mitchell, children, David A Mitchell; Daughter in Law-Rochelle Mitchell; Grandchildren, Alexis Mitchell, Haley Mitchell, Paul Mitchell, Lillie Mitchell; Father, Paul Mitchell; sister, Pamela Mays, niece, Tori Mays; nephew, Kenneth Rockwell and his wife, Marna; 7 cousins and numerous extended family members and friends.
