David Lee Parker was born October 3, 1948, to the parentage of Lee Wesley Parker and Rosie Lee Parker.
David attended primary school in Mosier Valley, and then attended I.M. Terrell High School. He met and married Louise Wynn, to this union two children were born Tonya and David Jr. He worked at various jobs, Sears, LTV (Vought Aeronautics), Miller Brewery, Tractor Machine operator for Bob Ward (Dallas) and retired from FWISD.
David received salvation and was a God-fearing man. He shared his
faith with his family, and they attended church regularly. David was a
faithful, member and Deacon of the Rising Star COGIC for many years under the leadership of Supt. R.L. and Johnnie Mae Macklin.
He later married Gwendolyn Scott and help raise Nycole Scott and Christopher Scott while still under the leadership of Elder Maclin and the rising Star COGIC. After attending Rising Star for many years, they decided to go a different direction together and help a new upcoming pastor, Pastor Eugene Peterson of Word of Faith Deliverance Church, where he served as a Deacon.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Gwendolyn Parker, parents: Lee Wesley Parker and Rosie Lee Parker, Brother: Johnny E Parker, Stepdaughter: Nycole Scott Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Tonya Parker-Jones {L.A.), Lewisville, David Parker Jr. of Ft. Worth, Michael Scott of Little Rock, Arkansas, Christopher Scott of Ft. Worth, Grandchildren: Bryan Hamilton of Denton, Bryce Hamilton (Callie) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, SSG Kent Hamilton of Killeen, Ricky Hamilton Jr. of Arlington, Tangela Hamilton of Washington D.C., Traci Hamilton of Dallas, Sydney Parker of Ft. Worth, Karrington Parker of Ft. Worth, Madison Brown of Ft. Worth, Great-Grandchild, Kennedy Hamilton of Killeen, Son in law Mose Brown of Ft. Worth, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Siblings; Mary Chivers of Forest Hill, Laverne Parker of Hurst, Texas, Nancy Cooper (William) of Euless, Texas.
