A Memorial Service will be held on June 24, 2023 at 11am at Worth Baptist Church, located at 4900 Campus Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76119, Pastor Tyler Gillet, officiating.
Darla was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Terry and Carolyn Thornton on June 26, 1963. Darla loved living life and having her most cherished title of Nana to her grandchildren. To say she will be deeply missed by us all would be an understatement.
Darla is preceded in death by her Daughter Dawn Price, Mother Carolyn Thornton and Sister Terry Lynn Thornton
Darla is survived by her Daughter Brittany Gilbert, Siblings Jeff Thornton, Monty Thornton and Tracy Blakely, Father Terry Thornton, Grandchildren Dean Smith, James Sawyer, Jaxon Price, Liam Gilbert, Coraline Williams and Ruby Cox
Memorials may be given to Brittany Gilbert or sent to Worth Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX.
