Daniel was born in Wichita, Kansas on April 18, 1945. He graduated from Texas Wesleyan University and received a Bachelor of Science. Daniel was married to Helen Marie Scott on May, 1973, in Denton, Texas and worked in Glaucoma Research for Alcon Labs. He was also a member of Boy Scouts of America, had a passion for photography and wildlife.
Daniel is preceded in death by his mother, Ann Scott and his uncle, Michael Saluga. He is survived by his wife, Helen Marie Scott; children, Christopher Scott, Christian Scott, Celeste Gray, and Crystal Derrick; grandchildren, Jeremiah Province, Cillian Derrick, Finn Gray, Ruby Gray, and Quentin Derrick; siblings, Gary Scott, James Scott, and Michele Eisenhauer.
