Dale Leon Reynolds of Keller, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, January 1, 2021. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, father-in-law, Pop, brother, uncle and friend by all who knew and loved him.
Dale was born March 19, 1931, in Arlington, Texas, to Bert and Caroline Reynolds. He grew up in Handley, Texas, graduating from Handley High School in 1949.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, and was an active member of the Masonic Lodge, Moslah Shrine. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 1933 after 44 years.
Dale was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Keller, where he served as a deacon and beloved greeter. He was loved for his infectious smile and warm hugs.
He married his soulmate, and the love of his life, Jackie Evans Reynolds, on February 9, 1951. They were married almost 70 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Caroline Reynolds; two brothers, Emmett and Eugene (Gene); and a sister, Thelma Walters.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jackie; three sons, Tommy (Vickie) Reynolds of Weatherford, Texas, Danny (Leanna) Reynolds of Southlake, Texas, and David (Dana) Reynolds of Nashville, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Brandon Reynolds (Miranda) of Highlands, Texas, Taber Crawford (Adam) of Argyle, Texas, Brynn Dempsey (Taylor) of Abilene, Texas, Tara Tate (Tyler) of Southlake, Texas, Andrew Reynolds (Elizabeth) of Pflugerville, Texas, Matthew Reynolds of Norman, Oklahoma and Jack and Tyler Reynolds of Nashville, Tennessee; sixteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park, 7301 E Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday, May 15, at 10:00 a.m.
