Daughter of Randolph and Mary Agnes Tucker, and sister to Ruby, Leonard, Glen Allen, LeRoy, and Clifford. Clara graduated Amber High School, OK. Her favorite things to do were playing basketball, reading, and loving her cat. She was awarded a scholarship and attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, OK and played softball. From there she worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone as an operator. She met her husband to be, Charles Freeman, on a blind date in October 1951 and were married two months later. They recently celebrated nearly 71 years of marriage.
Clara was active in the many churches she attended as her husband was a Southern Baptist Minister. She loved reading throughout her life and was a devoted Christian.
She is survived by her husband, Charles, and their three sons, Bill, born in Oklahoma, David, born in Germany, Rick, born in Acapulco; three wonderful daughter-in-law’s; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
