Charles (Chuck) radio call letters K2XB was born in Akron, Ohio on September 14, 1940. He graduated from Rootstown High School and received an electrical engineering degree from Ohio University. He was married to Betty Cass on August 19, 1971 in Binghamton, NY. Chuck was an engineer for American Airlines. He had many passions including Golf, Cleveland Browns, and Ham Radio. He was also an All American Diver, as well as in the Sportsman Hall of fame at Ohio University.
Chuck was preceded in death by Elmer and Marjorie Woodlee.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Woodlee; children, Jay Woodlee of Rootstown, Ohio; Lisa Freeland and Cass Stalker of Burleson, Tx; grandchildren, Jay Mason Woodlee and Joey Woodlee of Rootstown, Ohio, Kassie Hall of Burleson, TX and Hunter Stalker of Irmo, South Caolina; brothers and sisters, James Woodlee and Jackie Woodlee of Rootstown, Ohio and Susan and Charles McGrath of Rootstown, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
