Charles was born in Las Cruces, NM on November 17, 1947. He was self-employed for the majority of his career, finding success in work through his experience in health and life insurance sales. His strong work ethic and dedication often shined brightest in the love and devotion he had for his family. Always trying to instill the best in them, so they could bring out the best in themselves.
Charles was an active and passionate sportsman as well as an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed playing baseball throughout high school and competitive tennis as an adult. Later in life he developed a passion for the sport of hunting and spent much of the fall season on his deer lease. When not pursuing one of his hobbies he cherished spending time with his family and his community of faith.
His faith in God grew stronger over the years and he became a student of the Bible. He loved to share his faith and was sure that he was going to heaven. In his final days, he confidently said, “I am not afraid of death.”
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrol Elliott; father, Cecil Elliott; and mother, Shirley Elliott. He is survived by many who love him dearly and forever, including:
