On June 2nd, 1974 in Fort Worth, Texas, God blessed Roy and Vanessa Teal with a beautiful baby boy who they named Cedric Lamont Teal. Not long afterwards Cedric accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church where he was a lifelong member.
Cedric was very adventurous as a child. He and his brothers would often spend days walking through creeks and wooded areas in the Berryhill, Carter Park and Poly neighborhoods with their friends. They would also hide dogs they weren’t allowed to have in makeshift kennels they made in those woods. Cedric attended several intermediate public schools in Fort Worth ISD before attending O.D. Wyatt High School.
Cedric loved the moments shared with his two darling children, Kimora and Kemondric (aka Biscuit). They were the pride and joy of his life.
Cedric was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast who spent countless hours working on and customizing them. He enjoyed going to the races at Yellow Belly and Kennedale dragstrips.
Cedric also had a very outgoing personality. He left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered with his charismatic charm and beaming smile. It’s believed that there wasn’t a person on Berryhill that didn’t know Ced.
On January 2nd, 2021, Cedric transitioned from this life to be with his Father in Heaven after a valiant and courageous battle with illness. His memory will forever be cherished by his daughter Kimora Brown and son Kemondric Brown, mother Vanessa Teal, father Roy Teal Sr. (Denise), sister Amanda Teal (Demichael) of Houston, brothers Lathrell Teal, Aarian Teal of Houston, Chris Teal and Roy Teal Jr. (Veronica), grandmother Vimmie Mitchell, special aunts Carolyn, Jewel and Wanda as well as many more adorned aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
