Our dear mother, Carrie Webb, fell asleep in the blessed arms of the Savior on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, in her 96th year.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at The Potter's House in Dallas, Elder Edward Shankle officiating, Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m.
Survivors: Left in the caring hands of the Almighty are her loving children, Lorene Fields, Annie Hall, Ola Ellis, Mae Thomas, Essie Hornbuckle, Elder Lillie Hatchett, Vivian Smith (Henry), Shirley Douglas (Calvin), Debra Shankle (Elder Edward); brother, Espy Payton (Essie); sisters, Alice Shaw, Trudy Wright; 21 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
