Carolyn accepted Christ at a very young age while attending Free Church of God In Christ In Jesus Name under the leadership of the late Bishop Calvin Williams, Sr. Later she joined the Christian Learning Center Church under the leadership of Reverend Joe Walker, Sr.
Carolyn received her education through the FWISD while attending M.L. Kirkpatrick School.
In 1969 Carolyn married Willie D. Roberson, Jr. and to this union five girls were born. They remained married 51 years until she answered the call of her heavenly father.
Carolyn was employed with Meacham Field Airport as a cook. She then went on to work for the former Mike Moncrief as a Domestic worker, and later she became head Chef for Wyatt’s Cafeteria. Carolyn had a gift for cooking and nurturing others, which she enjoyed and freely dedicated her time and anything else she had to give. She enjoyed her get away time with her husband to the casinos.
On September 23, 2020 Carolyn heard her masters call and she Surrendered to him as she Transitioned into her new home.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father’s, Joe Willie Lester and Cliff Myles, Jr., mother, Estella W. Myles, daughter, Deon Roberson, granddaughter,
Antwainett Maroney and sister, Pamela W. Burleson.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: husband Willie D. Roberson, Jr. four daughters, Ellen Roberson (Willie), Zandra Roberson, Nicole Dennis(Ryan) and Alisea Roberson (Tremon); one granddaughter, Yolanda Roberson (Allen), six great grandchildren; Zyria, Talicia, Shakira, Tristin, Zoey and Amiya; four sisters, Sandra Harris (Prince), Barbara Campbell (Kittrell, Sr.), Shirley Blair (Larry) and Susan White; one uncle, James White and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
