Brenda Barnes, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hood County Senior Center or the Cancer Society.
Brenda was born in Fort Worth, TX on July 25, 1941. She was a UNT Alumni, worked in retail, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved traveling, line dancing, and volunteering for the Hood County Senior Center and Meals On Wheels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Barnes; parents, Roy T (Sibyle) Smith; and stepson, Keith Barnes.
Brenda is survived by her brother, Jerry (Diane) Smith; Nephews, Keith (Donna) Smith, Craig (Kitty) Smith; stepson Kevin E. Barnes; granddaughter, Lindsey; and numerous great nieces.
