MANSFIELD -- Brandon Glenn Holcomb, 33, passed into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Visitation: 1 p.m. Saturday.
Brandon was born April 12, 1979, in Fort Worth to Mr. and Mrs. Gary Holcomb. Brandon graduated from Northside High School of Medical Professionals before attending Texas Wesleyan College of Fort Worth. He joined the Mansfield Police force and became a member of SWAT. Most recently he was furthering his career with AT&T. Brandon was a loving husband and adoring father. His infectious personality, great wit and charming sense of humor were family traits passed down from generations before. He was taken from us too soon, which brings to mind the quote by philospher Henri Fredric Amiel, "Life is short and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those who are traveling the journey with us. Oh be swift to love, make haste to be kind."
Survivors: Brandon will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Kristal Holcomb; daughter, Nicole Holcomb; daughter, Mackenzie Holcomb; parents, Gary and Margaret Holcomb; niece, Brittany Pickett; many cousins and uncles; and the countless lives he touched.
