Although it has been 8 years, I often remember Brandon with happy memories of him as a child. We miss him. 

Hey Daddy. What has it been? Close to six years now? It honestly feels like a hundred. I don’t think I can ever begin to describe how often you cross my mind. For the past six years, Iv’ve been writing and talking to you, as if you were right there with me the whole time. 

Mac is so big now. God, you would be so proud. She’s growing up to be a strong, intelligent, and beautiful young woman. And there isn’t a day that goes by that I wish I was right there, able to witness as she stumbles her way through life.  The fourth grade, Daddy. Can you believe it? I sure can’t! 

As for me, I think I’m getting by. Im a sophomore now and these past three years has really played into who I am now, as well figuring myself out. I have big dreams, but I need the grades of course, something that I need to work at. I’ve grown. So much. And so has Mac. 

I guess I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for your humor, how strong you were, and for the fact that you have never left my side. Even now. 

I love you Daddy. Rest easy. 

Thinking about you as much today as I was a year ago.  I know the pain is still as fresh today as it was then.  Your entire family continues to be in my thoughts and in my prayers.

There would have to be a new entry in the dictionary to even begin to describe this devastating loss . I love you

Nicole, Take those memories through your life. You were blessed to have him as your dad. He left too soon and I'm sorry he won't be physically present with you but I guarantee he will be with you like an angel by your side for the rest of your life. Just know people will continue to pray for you and your family.

I admire my father so much.  I think he is the funnist most loving man that i ever laid my eyes on.  I remember that silly face he would make during a picture. That always made me smile. I will depply miss him!

I told my Brittany how sorry I was for her loss, but I wanted to let you know how deeply sorry I am for your loss as well. I hope as time passes, your pain will ease. I know wounds like this never heal completley, but I pray that your family wraps you guys up in love. I know this is not exactly a timely message, but I wanted you to know we care.

I'm so sorry to hear about Brandon. I knew him back when Nicole was 1 yr old. He was a nice guy and cared so much about Nicole as I imagine he did with Mackenzie as well. I pray he died peacefully. Brandon was a great guy.  I always liked being around him and wish I could have known him longer.  He will be missed.  God bless and comfort all of you, his family and close friends.

I knew Brandon when he was a student at Texas Wesleyan.  I was the adviser for his fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega-National Service Fraternity.  I thought very highly of Brandon and it was a joy to run into him at a restaurant in Mansfield when he was a police officer.  I will definitely keep his family in my prayers.

I was a year below Brandon at North Side, and I will always remember how dedicated and focused on his future he was. He was just an all around good guy, and the object of many school girl crushes. I'm so sad to hear about Brandon.  This picture is exactly how I remember him.  He was funny, caring, and full of life.  He was like a big brother to me through high school, and I am so sorry for his wife and little girls.
