Anthony was born in Fort Worth, TX on August 22, 1965.
He enlisted in the Army at age 17 and his military tour took him from Fort Worth, Texas across the world to Germany. Those who knew Anthony heard countless stories of his time abroad which awakened a lifelong love of travel.
He was the proud father of three beautiful children, Kyle, Koryn, and Kayla as well as the devoted husband to the love of his life Deana. Making people laugh was Anthony’s superpower. Seldom were you in his company when joyful laughter was not also present.
Watching sports and cheering on his favorite teams were among his dearest pastimes. He got to see his beloved Texas Rangers win the World Series and the Dallas Cowboys make the playoffs. His happiest places were in the sun and in any body of water, lake or ocean. He set a goal to see as many beaches as possible and accomplished just that.
Anthony was one of a kind and will be terribly missed by all those who knew and loved him, countless friends, family, and his furry babies Monster and Munchie. He was a deeply beloved husband, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, brother, friend and colleague. True to himself, his passing was sudden, unexpected, and quick, just like he always hoped it would be.
He was preceded in death by his older brother Ronnie Linn, and parents Ron and Evie Brookshire of Willow Park. Survivors: Deana J. Brookshire; son Kyle and wife Kaitlyn; grandsons Kayden, Cooper and Bentley; daughters Koryn & Kayla; sister Dee Dee and brother-in-law Rick Flynt; nieces Raegan, Kendall, and Abby and Mackenzie and husband Joe Wintrick; and mother-in-law Jean White.
