Amy L. Boterf was born July the 11th of 1970 in Paris, Tennessee. She passed away October the 12th of 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas. Amy was an incredible wife, a loving mother, and a woman with a burning desire to offer herself in service to everyone in her life.
Amy gave life to ten children, whom she labored tirelessly to educate, nurture, and surround them with love every day. While caring for her bustling home, Amy did everything in her power to serve others around her. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served Him in many areas of the church. She was especially dedicated to intercessory prayer for her family, friends, and church family.
She was a woman of incredible diligence, even working nights to help when the family faced hard times while simultaneously earning her degree in one of her main passions, education. She graduated from Ole Miss as Valedictorian, receiving the Taylor Medal. Amy attacked life with an indomitable spirit, even in spite of the struggles she faced. Amy had her first heart attack in 2003 and struggled through several more over the following years. Amy’s body eventually succumbed to her condition. She left this world surrounded by her loving husband, all her children, and many loved ones.
She is survived by her husband Aubrey, and her children - Joseph, Mike, Rose, James, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Jeremiah, Charity, and Paul, her grandchildren Abigail, Addison, Audrey, Julian, Dominic and Kiyaan,and her Mother Betty, and her siblings John, Matthew, Caleb, Rachel, Ruth, Joshua, Mary, and Jacob.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her son Mark.
Visitation is Sunday, October 20th at 5-7pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home Fort Worth and Celebration of Life service at 2 pm Monday, October 21st at 2 pm at The Heights Church Cleburne Campus.
