She was born on November 17, 1944 to Dennis King and Eva Jewel Freeze. She was the second of six children, and grew up in Dumas, Texas. Alice spent most of her adult life as a homemaker, caring for her aging loved ones, and serving those in need.
Alice was preceded in death by her father Dennis King, her mother Eva Jewel Freeze, her sister Joyce Ingram, her brother Thomas King, her husband David Ferguson, her grandson Benji Munoz, her father-in-law Frank Ferguson, her mother-in-law Bonnie Ferguson, and her sister-in-law Margaret Chae.
She is survived by siblings John David Justus, William King, Barbara Lord; by children Curtis Gonzales, Amy Douglas (Greg), Rebecca Viola (Chris), and Kimberly Romero (David); by grandchildren Edward Gonzales, Elizabeth Page, Michael Page, Garrett Viola, Isabelle Viola, Abigayle Viola, Gabriel Viola, David Cruz Romero and Juliette Romero; by great-grandchild Miranda Mills; and by many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and those who considered her family.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1:00pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home at 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
