William D. Gabbard

William D. Gabbard, 86, died on March 19, 2023. He graduated from the University of Illinois, after which he served as a Seabee at the United States Naval Base in Rota, Spain. He and his family moved to Fort Wayne in 1971. Bill was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Rotary, Phi Delta Theta, and Quest Club. Survivors include wife, Sara; son, James (Cynthia) Gabbard; daughter, Rebecca (Steven) Voitlein; and grandchildren, Jessica Gabbard, Daniel Gabbard, William Voitlein and James Voitlein. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Trinity Episcopal Church 611 W. Berry Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802 with visitation in the lounge beginning at 10:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church or Fort Wayne Rotary Club (PO Box 11141, Ft. Wayne 46856).
