Virginia Ann "Gini" Roberts

Virginia A. “Gini” Roberts, 81, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. She was born on May 27, 1941 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Lester and Irene (Nierma) O’Connor. She worked at Magnavox for over 20 years before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed tending to her plants and her flowers and the lake life. Surviving family include her husband of more than 40 years, Gary Roberts; sons, Bill Sievers and Rex (Monica) Sievers; step-children, Mike Roberts, Kevin Roberts, and Lori Wirick; grandchildren, Austin, Eric, Brittany, Jason, Angel, and Ben; numerous great grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her daughter, Lisa Sievers. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Entombment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
