Todd E. Haines

Todd E. Haines, 62, of Fort Wayne passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was born on October 21, 1958 in Huntington, Indiana, a son of the late Stacy E. and Colleen L. (Diffendorfer) Haines. He was a 1977 graduate of Wawasee High School, a 1981 graduate of Ball State University, earning his bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1984. He began his CPA career at Ernst & Young, working in the Fort Wayne office from 1984 until 1998. He then founded and served as the managing partner at Haines, Isenbarger & Skiba, LLC beginning in 1998. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, and served on the board of numerous charitable organizations such as Goodwill Industries, Francine’s Friends, the Notre Dame Club of Fort Wayne, and many others. Todd was a tremendous supporter of youth sports and frequent scorekeeper for Canterbury School. He was also an avid Cubs and Notre Dame fan. Surviving family include his wife, Joyce Haines; his children, Reed & Kelly Haines of Houston, TX, and Katie Haines of Philadelphia, PA; brother, Tyler Haines of Leesburg, IN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2417 Getz Rd., Fort Wayne. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, at D.O. McComb and Sons - Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park following the service on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the Ash Centre/World Baseball Academy for promoting youth sports or Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
