Ruth Isabel Myers

"Ruth Isabel Myers ",91, of Fort Wayne Indiana went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ in heaven, on Monday September 25th 2023. "Ruth was born in Queens Village New York in 1932, and graduated from Jamaica High School. She received a Certificate of “Registered Nurse” from the State of New York in 1951. Ruth Myers will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, faithful church member, choir member, friend and prayer warrior. She was a godly woman, spending much time daily reading her bible and praying through her stack of 3 X 5 cards where she had written the names of her children, grandchildren, extended family, missionaries, church members, and prisoners that she was witnessing to. Her family and friends knew Ruth could be counted on to be there and support you whenever you asked. In her own words her hobbies were “puttering, gardening, knitting crochet, piano and music. Ruth will be greatly missed by her family and friends but we rejoice with her knowing that she is finally home with her Savior where she has been longing to go these past few years. She was preceded in death by her mother, (Jessi M. Klem); father (Arthur C. Klem); brothers Arthur W. Klem and C. David Klem and her daughter Beverly R. Clark. She is survived by her siblings William Klem, Mary Lou Smires, and Herbert, V. Klem; her children Jodi L Peace of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Thomas H. Myers (Patricia) of Silvis, Illinois; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on October 6th 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the family residence. A Celebration of Life for Ruth will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 3:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46807.
