Ronald F. Davies, 93, of Fort Wayne passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016. He was born on October 31, 1922 to the late John L. and Edith M. (Hoover) Davies. He worked for 42 years at General Electric before retiring in 1982. He also worked as a floor manager at Bell’s Roller Rink. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at GE. He loved being with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving family include his wife, Virginia “Danine” Davies; sons, Roger, Terry, Brian, Ken (Jan), and John (Shelley) Davies; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Gick and Virginia Doty; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by his sister, Betty; and brothers, John, William, and Walter. Funeral service will be 1:30 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Brushy Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Audiences Unlimited or donor’s choice.
