Rogelio Gonzalez Martinez Sr. 39, passed away September 14, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born October 6, 1983, in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of Salvador Martinez and Consuelo Martinez. He attended St. Vincent school and Leo High School. He loved to spend time with his family, he had a laugh and smile that was uplifting and contagious, he loved watch football, he could sit and talk about football for ever, his favorite teams was the Colts and Notre Dame, he loved to play pool, he loved listening to music, he liked to play cornhole, and loved watching movies. Rogelio is survived by his parents Salvador and Consuelo Martinez of Fort Wayne, IN; Wife Jennifer Fike of Kendallville, IN., Sons, Valentino Martinez of Houston, TX; Salvador Martinez of Houston, TX; Antonyo Martinez of Kendallville, IN; Jayden Fike of Kendallville, IN; sister, Marisol (Justin) Sharpe of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Enrique Martinez of Fort Wayne, IN He was preceded in death by a brother, Salvador Matinez Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN; a son Rogelio Martinez Jr. of Houston, TX Mass of Christian Resurrection will be 11:00 am Friday, September 22, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 1502 E. Wallen Road Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also from 11am -1pm and 6-8 pm along with a Rosary at 12:30 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN. 46805. Private burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
