Raymond Charles Dugan, age 70, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his home in Woodburn, Indiana. Born on January 10, 1952 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Robert and Gertrude (Schieferstein) Dugan. Raymond was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and worked for many years as a supervisor at Patton Electric until he medically retired. When not working, he enjoy being outdoors, always close to water, as he was an avid fisherman. Raymond also liked to spend time just enjoying retirement and “tinkering” on his beloved red Chevy Impala SS. He enjoyed just being at home and especially loved spending the holidays at home with his grandchildren. His face would light up as presents were unwrapped, and receiving something as simple as a Bass Pro Shops gift card would bring him the greatest joy. His simple, quiet presence will be dearly missed by family and friends alike. Raymond is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debbie (Weaver) Dugan; sons, Dudley (Tanya) Clark and David (Aimee) Clark; daughter, Dawn Muller; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five sisters; and a niece and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service for Raymond will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022 at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808 with calling one hour prior. Memorials can be written to Parkview Home Health and Hospice in Raymond’s name. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.sloanandsonsfuneralhome.com for the Dugan family.
