Peter Gilbert Lennington

Peter “Pete” Gilbert Lennington, age 60, of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Saint Paul, Minn. passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born December 13, 1963 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Terrence and Susan (née Koehlinger) Lennington. Pete is a graduate of Homestead High School in Fort Wayne (1982), Hillsdale College (1986), and the University of Toledo, College of Law (1990). Pete had an accomplished legal career, culminating in his founding of the Lennington Law Firm, an estate planning firm in St. Paul, Minn. He was recognized by his peers as a leader in estate planning and served in several national legal organizations. Pete enjoyed many hobbies and interests over his lifetime including hiking, camping, baseball, and the culinary arts, but cherished time spent with friends and family the most. He is survived by his children, Elyse Lennington-Chaffee, Anna Lennington-Chaffee and Sofi Lennington-Chaffee and their mother, Kate Chaffee; brothers, Matt (Melyssa) Lennington and Dan (Kate) Lennington; and nephews, Henry, James, Wilson, and Joe; and parents, Terrence and Susan Lennington. Celebration of Life is 1 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes – Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior; Rev. Josemon T.
