Patti Lou Hutchins

Patti Lou Hutchins, 60, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Patti graduated from Wayne High School and received her Bachelor's degree from IPFW in both geology and education. She also received her Master of Science from the University of Southern Illinois. Patti worked as a teacher with Gary School District for 30 years. Surviving are her parents, Alvin and Marilyn Hutchins; sister, Joni (Don) Sanders of West Lafayette, Indiana brother, Robert Hutchins of Fort Wayne; niece, Natalie (Jacob) Fox of Valaparaiso, Indiana; nephew, John (Shelby) Sanders of West Lafayette, Indiana; great-niece, Sydney Fox; and great-nephew, Nicky Fox. Memorial Service is 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Hope United Methodist Church, 6608 Hoagland Road with calling beginning at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior's Project or Hope United Methodist Church.
