Patricia Ann Roberts

Patricia Ann Roberts, 84, passed away November 12, 2023, at her home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born June 21, 1939, in Kendallville, IN, the daughter of Harold and Harriet (Dunlap) Beck. Patricia graduated from North Side High School in 1957, and the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in 1973. She worked at the former Lutheran Hospital on Fairfield Ave. and retired in 2004 from the VA Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Patricia enjoyed gardening, bird watching and was an avid reader. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She dedicated her life both personally and professionally to being a caregiver. She is survived by her daughters, Lauri (Glenn) Phillips of Fort Wayne; Suzanne (Mick) McElfresh of Bryan, OH; Vicki (Scott) Cooper also of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, David (Angela) Richhart of Hudson, IN; Matthew Richhart of Kendallville, IN; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William Roberts, September 30, 2023, their daughter, Diane Smith, and a grandson Michael Fromm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, November 20, 2023, at St. Jude Catholic Church 2130 Pemberton Dr. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2-4 pm Sunday, November 19, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Burial at Catholic Cemetery.
