Norma Lee Mansfield, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away January 9th, 2022. Born on July 12, 1927 in Parkersburg, WV, Norma graduated from Marietta College where she met her husband and went on to become a devoted wife and mother. Norma was an active member in Great Decisions, AAUW, Chi Omega and her investment groups. She was an avid bridge player and earned her MLS degree and worked at the Fort Wayne Public Library. She is survived by her son David Mansfield of Fort Wayne; daughter Anne Homayounfar of New York City; sister, Linda Williams of Columbus; and six grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by husband Walter O. Mansfield Jr.; daughter Debra Rothgeb; and parents, Norman and Goldie LaFaber.
Funeral service will be at 4:00pm, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with calling from 2:00pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Heartland Hospice via check (2720 Dupont Commerce Circle Suite 210, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825) or Planned Parenthood (plannedparenthood.org) in honor of Norma Mansfield.
