Michael Alan Caley

Michael Alan Caley, 74, passed away March 6, 2024, at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born September 6, 1949, in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of the late Vernon E. and Laverne Marion Caley. Mike graduated from North High School in 1969 and earned his Associates Degree from Indiana Business College. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1967-1971. He was a Quality Inspector at Rea Magnet Wire for 34 years and retired in 2011. After retirement Mike work part time at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home. Mike attended church at Brookside Community and was a member of American Legion Post 47 and the St. Joe Club. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Caley of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Brianna (Keaton) Green and Hunter Barrand, both of Fort Wayne, IN; great grandchildren, Zennith and Roamalea Green, sister, Connie Riemen, of Oregon and a brother, James Caley of Fort Wayne, IN. Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Caley, April 9, 2006 and their son Gregory M. Caley. Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, March 16, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation from 11:00 am until service time. Burial at Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, IN.
