Mary Jane Knapp, 86, passed away August 9,2018. Born in Redfield, SD to Herman and Mary Kleer. She graduated from the University of Michigan as a Registered Nurse and worked in the surrounding communities. Mary Jane was heavily involved as a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene. She was a loving, caring and nurturing wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family and her church. Mary Jane is survived by her husband of 60 years Paul Knapp, son, David Knapp of Fort Wayne, daughter Rebecca (Mark) Nothstine of Brandon, FL, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and sister Elaine (Leroy) Miller of Goshen, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fred Kleer. Funeral Service will be at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave August 13, 2018 at 1:30 pm with calling an hour prior. Calling also at the funeral home Sunday August 12 from 4-6 pm. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made Trinity Church of the Nazarene.
