Mary Lou Dove, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014. She was born on November 15, 1932 in Fort Wayne to the late Virgil and Alta (Caley) Dalman. She graduated from Lafayette Central High School. She worked for 19 years as a secretary for Fort Wayne Community Schools before retiring in 1990. She was an avid IU fan and enjoyed puzzles, scrabble, and especially her grandchildren. Surviving family include her husband of 62 years, Robert “Bob” Dove; daughter, Linda Douglas, son, Scott Dove; two grandchildren; and brother, Larry Dalman. A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Avalon Missionary Church’s Family Life Center, 1212 Lower Huntington Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Avalon Missionary Church.
