Mary T. Barnes, 70, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Mary worked as a teacher at St. Jude Catholic School and Bishop Dwenger High School, and most recently she served as the Director of Religious Education at St. Jude. She was a faithful member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Mike Barnes of Fort Wayne; her children, Michael (Amy) Barnes of Fort Wayne, Molly (Derek) Trambaugh of Noblesville, IN, and Tim (Kelly) Barnes of Indianapolis, IN; 3 grandchildren, Katy Barnes, James Barnes, and Abigail Trambaugh. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Mass of Christian Burial is 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive with calling one hour prior. Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil service at 3:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
