Mary Louise Banks departed this life at the age of 71, on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Eldon and Ruthalee (Cunningham) Cook, born on September 30, 1952 in Logansport, Indiana.
She worked for GTE for 22 years and for Lincoln Financial Group for 12 years.
Mary enjoyed watching her son mature into a fine young man. She was passionate about her job, and enjoyed reading her Bible, watching mystery movies and cats, especially her last cat “Memphis.”
She leaves to cherish many memories to her devoted husband, Larry Ellis Banks and son, Kyatte Banks and friends.
A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM.
Mary will be laid to rest in Lindenwood Cemetery
