Marilyn Jean Honeick

Marilyn Jean Honeick, age 94, of Smith Farms Manor Auburn, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center Defiance, Ohio. Marilyn was born on February 15, 1930 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a daughter of the late Arno and Dorothy Honeick. She worked at Bell and GTE telephone companies as a telephone operator as well as being an Avon lady for many years. Surviving are her sister LaVon (Bonnie) Miller of Auburn, Indiana; beloved nieces, Julie (Dana) Ballinger of Hicksville, Ohio, Nora (Joe) Maupin of Auburn, Indiana, Andrea Bell of Troy, Ohio, Lisa (Paul) Klopsch of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and many great nieces and nephews. A visitation for Marilyn will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
