Marian A. Klinger

Marian A. Klinger, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Born on December 11, 1934, in Elwood, IN, she was the daughter of the late Claude Herold, and Mable Curry. Marian retired from GE in 1993, after more than 27 years of service in the aircraft assembly division. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the GE Elex Club, and the GE Quarter Century Club. Marian is survived by her husband, Delphus Klinger; daughters, Lois Bullard, and Kathryn McDaniel; sons, Alfred McDaniel, Steven McDaniel, and Patrick McDaniel; brother, Hal Curry; sister, Melinda Peppler; as well as five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter on the way. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Kenneth McDaniel. A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 4 to 8pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations in her honor may be directed to Humane Fort Wayne, formerly Allen County SPCA.
