Louis Berry

Louis Berry, age 84, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Berry was born on May 30, 1934, in Roanoke, IN to the late Homer and Elsie (Zondler) Berry. Louis graduated from Roanoke High School. He served his country honorably with the United States Navy during the Korean War. On October 6, 1956, he married Nancy Lou Mueck in Fort Wayne. Louie worked for Zollner Piston as a Shipping Clerk for 40 years before retiring. He was a sports enthusiast. He loved golfing, baseball/softball, and bowling. Louie coached his son’s little league baseball teams. Survivors include his children; Gayle (Eddie) Bellam of Fort Wayne, Renee (Rod Gasnarez) Berry of Fort Wayne, Jay Berry of Fort Wayne, grandchildren; Seth (Carrie) Bellam of Fort Wayne, Selena Gasnarez of Garrett, Ben (Katie) Berry of Fort Wayne, and Jessica Berry of Fort Wayne, 5 great-grandchildren, sister; Bonnie Crawford of Roanoke. He was preceded in death by his spouse, parents, and siblings; Betty Williams, Marie Dennis, and Ray Wolf. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 1:30pm with calling prior from 11:00am-1:30pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, In 46805.
