Lester Harold Snyder

LESTER HAROLD SNYDER, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022. Born Dec. 24, 1931, in Peru, Ind., he was the son of Lester A. and Mary L. (Dunsizer) Snyder. Harold retired from and founded Miscellaneous Metals Corp., Fort Wayne. Harold is survived by sister, Marjorie Runkle; brother, James Snyder; children, Catherine A. (Frank) Thurston of Fort Wayne, Edward L. (Brenda) Snyder of Angola, Robert W. (Cheryl) Snyder of Indianapolis, Cynthia K. Giffin-Malone of Fort Wayne, and Kenneth A. (Patsy) Snyder of Fort Wayne; 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Martha Ann (Charter) Snyder, a sister, Mary Helen Richardson;a brother, Lowell E. Snyder. Funeral service is from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church, 10145 Maysville Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46835), with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46815).
