Kathy Ellen Bailey Bouthot, 73, of Fort Wayne, Ind, passed away December 26, 2023 in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Huntertown, she was part of the last graduating class of Huntertown High School in 1968. She was married in 1970 to Raney D. Bouthot, and became co-owner of Reggie’s Small Engines in Waynedale.
She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, flowers (sunflowers being her favorite), walking around historic districts, shopping, collecting gnomes, cheating at cards and taking trips. Above all else she loved her friends and family.
Surviving are her children; Shannon (Ashley) Bouthot of Fort Wayne, Nicole Bouthot of Fort Wayne, and Thane (Tanya) Bouthot of Indianapolis; sister, Gay (David) Inkrote of Dallas, TX; brother, Arnold (Corine) Bailey of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Luke) Fisher, Samuel Bouthot, and Oliver Bouthot; and one great-grandchild, Winter Fisher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raney Dean Bouthot; father, Eldon Bailey and mother, Ruby Arnold Bailey. Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
