Kathleen M. "Kay" Bair, 77, of Fort Wayne passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022. She was born on November 2, 1945 in Bellevue, Kentucky to the late William "Bill" and Margaret (Camery) Weideman. She worked at Cincinnati Gas and Electric as a stenographer, at Taft, Stettinius & Hollister law firm as a legal secretary, and a number of years as a preschool teacher. She had a loving and caring heart for children. She attended Emmanuel Community Church, was a member of the Christian Women's Club, and the Red Hats. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, ceramics, and toll painting. Most of all though, she enjoyed spending time with her family and going to their many different activities. Surviving family include her husband of 57 years, Don Bair; sons, Dave (Cindy), Danny, and Jeff (Bryony) Bair; grandchildren, Aryonna and Isaiah; sister, Sylvia Phillips; and brother, Steve Weideman. Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne following the services.
