Katherine Ann Griffin, 71, of Markle, IN, passed away March 7, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born May 10, 1952, in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of the late Paul and Lorena Rowan. Katherine graduated from Bishop Luers High School. She was a server at Hall’s Triangle Park Restaurant for several years, and as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Georgetown Place. Katherine was a longtime member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Ryan O’Connor of Markle, IN and his fiancé Angela Beckley, granddaughter Isabella Katherine O'Connor, siblings, Susan Rowan of Ashburn, VA; Eileen (Bruce) Layton-Naylor, Fort Wayne, IN; Nancy (Sam) Noll of Fort Wayne, IN; Thomas (Kim) Rowan of Huntington, IN; Paul (Linda) Rowan of Roanoke, IN; Dennis (Debbie) Rowan of Littleton, NC; Linda (Teresa Sneditar) Rowan of Westfield, IN; sister-in-law Cindy Rowan of Fort Wayne, IN.
Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Griffin, and brother, Timothy Rowan.
A memorial Mass of Christian Resurrection will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 23, 2024, at St. Jude Catholic Church 2130 Pemberton Dr. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior.
