Katherine M. Annis

Katherine M. Annis, 23, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at her home. Having bravely battled a heart condition since the age 14, she has been called home by the Lord. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a 2007 graduate of Elmhurst High School. "Katy had a special place in her heart for those in need of help, especially the elderly. She worked multiple jobs that entailed caring for elderly and special needs clients. She was a loving daughter, caring sister, and loyal friend. Her smile and love for her family and friends will forever be missed." Surviving are her parents, Richard and Colleen Annis of Fort Wayne: brothers Joesph (Sara) Annis of Fort Wayne: sisters, Bethany Annis (fiancé, Ben Johnson) and Maria (Aaron) Strebig of Fort Wayne and soul mate, Evan Munson of Walton, Indiana. Mass of Christian Burial is 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brooklyn Ave., with calling one hour prior. Father Timothy Wrozek officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
