If you are reading this, I must be dead. That's OK because I've lived a wonderful life. I had terrific parents, Robert and Georgia Green and a brother Richard. Met and married the love of my life, Robert. We had 53+ years of fun and marriage. Had a son Michael and a daughter Laura and 4 grandsons. I was a member of Fort Wayne & Collectors Club, Newcomers Club, American Business Women's, Encore Club and American Sewing Guild. I owned and operated Oak-Hill Realty for 30 years. My hobbies were sewing, bridge, crafting, reading, baking, traveling and theatre. I started theatre late in life but had the time of my life and met a lot of terrific people. I loved feeding people and putting a smile on their face. I also enjoyed entering my baked goods in the county and state fairs. There will absolutely be no funeral. You should pay attention and love people when they are alive because talking to a tombstone doesn't do anybody any good. If for some crazy reason you feel the need to send flowers-don't; send them to someone special in your life. Remember "most of us miss out on life's big prizes; The Pulitzer. The Nobel. Oscars.Tonys.Emmys. But we're all eligible for life's small pleasures; a pat on the back, a kiss behind the ear, a four-pound bass, a full moon, an empty parking space, a crackling fire, a great meal, a glorious sunset, hot soup, cold beer. Don't fret about copping life's grand awards. Enjoy it's tiny delights. There are plenty for all of us." Quote from The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, a book written by Robin S. Sharma.
